Baby nappies size for the hospital bag

Hi everyone, I am doing some shopping for my hospital bag, I know it may be a bit early for me, I'm only 19weeks. I would like to prepare it slowly rather than prepare it at the very last minute.

I have a question, what size of the baby nappies you prepared for the hospital bag? And how many did you buy?

I am thinking of buying Pampers "size 1" X 2 packs (for the hospital bag) and "size 2" (for keeping it at home) X 2 packs, do you think it is good enough for the start up?

I know they have "size 0" but is it too small for a newborn?

I think we took one pack of size 1 to the hospital but did have some more at home.

Closer to the end, they can estimate what baby might weigh which gives you more of an idea about what baby is likely to weigh when born. We were estimated around 8 pounds and that’s what he was in the end. The “just in case” newborn things didn’t make it out of the bag.

Thanks for your share. So size 1 for hospital bag is good. 👍🏻

We took a couple of size 1 and size 0, lo was born 6lb 8oz and the size 0 were a perfect fit.

Thanks for sharing, so I should buy at least 1 pack of size 0 just in case.👌

Definitely! What I did is put 6 of each my hospital bag then left the rest of both packs in car along with a second bag which had extra snacks, drinks and clothing so we didn't have too much stuff to take in with us and as I ended up having to stay in over night my husband just got the extra we needed from the car.

We took size 1 and they were too big for a 3kg baby (approx 6lb10 I think). We regretted not taking size 0s. Xx

I see, thanks for sharing. It is really difficult to decide how many size 0 to buy..I will buy 1 pack of size 0 and couples of size 1 to see. ❤️

I bought size 1 to take the hospital and my baby was 6ib10, she needed size 0. She’s 10 weeks old now and still not in size 2. I’d take size 0 & 1 x

Thanks for your sharing. Yes, I bought size 0 for hospital bag and keep some size 1 at home.❤️
