hey, I have this currently 29 weeks, apparently happens 1% of the time. I had a consultant do my 20 week scan and she was not bothered at all! I had a 28 week scan for other reasons and no problems so far! Try not to rely too much on google. I did read some where instead of two single tracks you have a dual carriage way - ie the one you have might be larger. Xx
Hi thereI had this in my pregnancy. Was scared to death after going through the Google rabbit hole.
Fortunately, everything turned out to be ok and I am a proud mum of a 5 month old healthy baby.
Stay calm and march on!
One tip which I got from a mum ( who also went through something similar) was eating a lot of eggs.
I did that too and not sure if that helped but hey, eating eggs are not going to harm either so why not try.
Praying for you.
I had this and was told not to worry. Midwife hadn’t even heard of it. They might just do more regular check ups which isn’t a bad thing. My four month old is playing grandma next door. Interestingly also donor conceived. Good luck with your pregnancy but don’t let this worry you x
Try not to Google to much- they will probably take the added precaution of regular growth scans now they are aware of it In the meantime speak to your midwife for reassurance while wating for appt with consultant
Thanks to all for the reassurance 🙏 Update:- this may help people in similar situation.
Went for the second opinion, had video consultation and the doctors seems to be relaxed and sees a lot of such patients even younger females with SUA so now I am bit relaxed. There is some test called quadralope(blood test) to rule out any such doubts and to be sure everything is fine,I am told to do that, once I get it done will update here.
This journey is roller coaster ride one worry ends and you are back to being worried again,as it is ivf is not easy on our mental well being.
I hope all the ladies in the world(including me) gets to hold their healthy babies and experience motherhood.
This forum is a blessing, thanks to each one of you💕
