Weaning off steroids - 10mg dose

Hi everyone, I am cautiously very excited having just had a very positive 11+4 scan - baby looking lovely today and I'm almost starting to get excited 😍

My clinic in Spain is talking now about weaning me off the drugs - I'm on 10mg prednisone and they want me to move down to 5mg tomorrow and then take 5mg until 30th March which will be a day or two after 12 weeks.

When did others stop/start weaning off steroids? did you start weaning at 12 weeks or just before?

hey girl. Congrats again. I stopped 5mg of prednisone at 12 weeks too, but continued with baby aspirin. Baby turned 1 year yesterday.

hey! I’m on prednisalone 10mg. I’m taking 10mg till 12 weeks then go to 5mg for 5 days then 5mg every other day for a week x
