pink blood when wiping 5weeks4days

hello,

I’m pregnant for the second time ever (first time naturally), my ivf pregnancy last year ended in early miscarriage. I’m now 5 weeks 4 days and had some pink blood when wiping this morning, it was only once and nothing has happened since. I’m reading that it could be implantation bleeding but I had the same thing happen last Thursday. I have no pain or other symptoms that would cause me concern. I have some back pain but it’s not sharp or really painful, it’s the same pain I’ve had since day 1.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

could just be implantation. I had this with my first and spotted until 12 weeks not long after. congratulations 😊🎉💙

hi D. Baby has already implanted. Could be irritation from using pessaries or an infection. Speak to your GP. Drink plenty of water. Hope it is soon resolved. Diane

this happened to me at 5 weeks 2 days, then stopped on the same day. I’m now 12 + 3 and had a recent scan 3 days ago and everything is still perfect 🤞🏽.

No explanation for the bleed when wiping and hasn’t happened since xx

It has stopped now thankfully and in for another scan next week as my hcg levels are high and scan yesterday went well so fingers crossed!

They think it may be something to do with my cervix (they used a fancy word which I can’t remember for the life of me!)
