I am now in week 8 of my post ICSI / PGTA normal embryo pregnancy and I experienced light bleeding at 2 occasions last weekend, while feeling particularly dizzy and tired. I ended up at the A&E and had a scan earlier this week where everything was ok with the embryo and they couldn't identify the source of the bleeding. My clinic took me off blood thinners for 3 days and I resumed blood thinners 2 days ago.
Each short bleed was followed by brown discharge for 1 day and then back to normal. But since I resumed blood thinners, the brown discharge is back and very watery. I have no pain except the occasional acute fleeting cramps.
My clinic advised me to keep on injecting blood thinners and "go back to the A&E if I am bleeding and/or in pain". This is really not super reassuring. Has anybody here gone through anything like this? My next scan is on Tuesday but I am wondering whether to try and get a scan privately before then.

I had spotting which was brown and bright red on a numner of occasions.....its the most terrifying time in the world! We got throught it, was like a cat on a hot tin roof most of the time but we made it! If you can, hang off. Hugs.xxx
Hi Dogpark. Hopefully you have been assigned to a midwife now, who will help and advise you. Brown blood/discharge is usually from old blood coming away, following infection or irritated cervix. Blood thinners can be responsible too. Hopefully all will soon settle down for you. Diane
