Low iron first time in years despite supps
I used to take Floradix and my iron was over midrange on it, then took 60 mg Actiferol (ferric pyrophosphate) in powder from the pharmacy for couple of months and a month ago I started ferrous sulphate 105 mg called
Ferrograd
. I can't believe how much it has dropped.

Ferritin levels
Could someone clarify please if Ferritin is the same as
Ferrograd
. I have been using Pregabalin 175mg for about a year and find the effects of minimising RLS symptoms have now worn off and I am experiencing full blown symptoms again now at times, not always, but at times.

Iron Infusion
I have constantly taken iron supplements -
ferrograd
C now for over one year and no improvement(see attached results) so I will be getting my first iron infusion on Thursday. I am really hoping my energy levels and leg pain will improve, I feel horrible every day atm.

Iron vs. Ferritin - do we need both optimal to feel best?
To be fair I never had to think about it cos both were always low for me 😆 I’m surprised with such low Ferritin as I have been taking
Ferrograd
that has been working well for me the last two years.

Ferrograd C - does it sell in the UK?
In Australia I used to take
Ferrograd
C with fantastic results. Is there an equivalent here? I haven’t come across it.
Ferrograd
: Each tablet contains: Dried ferrous sulfate 325mg (equivalent to 105mg or elemental iron) Sodium ascorbate (equivalent to 500mg or ascorbic acid Vit.C). Thanks!

Iron advice please
I have ordered
Ferrograd
C and then read mixed reviews on here. Then I read a great paper by Hellvella (I think) talking about Ferrtin from iherb. That gets great reviews. I am minded to order that.

Iron Deficiency and PA
I take
Ferrograd
C daily which doesn't seem to be making a damn bit of difference. Is my life going to be infusions from now on? Has anyone had similar issues? My doctor is testing me for Coeliac disease although I don't think it's the cause, as I have no gastro issues.

Test results
I take 300 mg a day of iron,
ferrograd
c. Serum B12 2000. I self treat. I can see the FT4 is low side. ( where does it go if it's always low despite moving thyroid up). I take 3 grains of nature thyroid. I only moved it up two weeks ago from 2 1/2 grains to the 3 grains.

Ferrous Sulphate?
Recently I've had alot of trouble with Ferrous sulphate, it just hasn't been agreeing with my stomach recently so my GP changed it to a slow release form called
Ferrograd
. I had some blood taken on Tuesday to see how things are going on
