I have had low iron forever (except while pregnant), cause endometriosis. I have constantly taken iron supplements - ferrograd C now for over one year and no improvement(see attached results) so I will be getting my first iron infusion on Thursday. I am really hoping my energy levels and leg pain will improve, I feel horrible every day atm. Just wondering if anyone could tell me how quickly and what difference an iron Infusion will work?

Iron Infusion
Hi just thought I'd post an update, I had the iron infusion today. What have I noticed I don't seem to have any bad symptoms, I do feel a little different, my feet and hands became warm and tingly during and after transfusion..in a nice way, it's almost 9pm and feeling like sleep now, I'm hoping the iron will help with my leg pain...tonight should be good to see as my legs been keeping me awake for several nights now... report back tomorrow changes noticed..🙂
So day 2 woke at 7am, feeling different...awake all day🙂, small headache took Panadol, still had leg pain but it didn't wake me up once asleep.
Day 3, I am feeling really good, I have energy and I'm not thinking of when I'll get to sleep...I have had a slight headache, but I haven't had to take Panadol. I have done so much cleaning today, things I've been putting off for ages because I've just been too tired, I don't want to get too excited this early...but I don't feel like a walking zombie 🙂 yay!!
