My ast is at 60 and alt 160. Rest everything within rage globulin slightly elevated. Can't go out to get an ultrasound due to lockdown in my country. How serious are my elevated enzymes?

An elevated ALT indicates that liver cells are under stress for some reason. It is a signal to learn more about what is happening but by itself doesn't really answer your question. We can't guess at diagnosis so seeing your doc as soon as possible is the best answer.

AST is also called SGOT (serum glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase). This test checks for any kind of liver damage. Generally, the levels of AST are lower than normal whereas the levels rise when the liver is damaged.

Normal levels of AST of a healthy liver is between 8 - 48 U/L.

Nevermind the lockdown. You can get tested for the liver function panel at your nearby lab here. After testing is done, further treatment or result interpretation by medical physician is also available.
