Are there any supplements or herbs that should or should NOT be taken? I have been diagnosed with fatty liver a few years ago but blood test that came back this time were more than a little high. Trying to lose weight and eat right. Any help please.

We are not doctors but we advise against trying supplements. There are no quick fixes. A healthy diet is your best bet
My blood tests came back high and I was really scared about it but my specialist said that they looked fine. I guess when we have liver problems elevated blood tests are to be expected. I have been okayed by my specialist to take a women’s over 50 multiple vitamin. I was diagnosed with cirrhosis between stage 3 & 4 in February. Hang in there and ask your doctor. Since the writing on the labels can be really small I went to the web site and got a copy of the ingredients from there. I know from reading on the internet that there are some you should not take. If you are doing research make sure you go to reputable sites.
It is generally considered to consult a Doctor before starting anything new. This is the rule I follow. There are many products that claim to be cures, they are all lies. I take a multivitamin with Cinnamon and turmeric. only.
Of course your doctors advice is always best, but in general I don’t take any thing that has a proprietary blend in it. I think a general daily vitamin and mineral complex is safe. When you start getting into herbs, it can get a little muddy.
