Dr Mindy has authorised me to share her "Fasting benefits Chart" (see photo) which tells us how much we get of which benefits of fasting we get at which stage of fasts up to five days.

Fasting is about so much more than losing weight - and the chart shows you at what stages of the fast you get what level of insulin & blood glucose, Autophagy and Growth Hormone, and intestinal or immune system stems cells.

Interesting stuff S11m

I wonder whether the timescales are still the same if you deplete your glycogen using a ketogenic diet, and/or exercise in a fasted state? Dr Fung and Eric Berg seem to suggest that this is the case.

I think the the chart is “typical”, and exercise, Keto, diabetes etc. would change the timescales.

How big was the initial meal? Calories, macros, etc...

My usual breakfast meal is 600ml of yoghurt… followed (two or three hours later) by broccoli and cheese. I then like to try to eat nothing else until breakfast the following day.
