I was able to register for a free subscription to the New England Journal of Medicine - and read and download the article (without claiming to be a medic or anything).

The article supports the theory that Intermittent Fasting is good for most non-communicable diseases. See:

Thanks for this. I find Dr Mindy hard to watch, but I read the original article with great interest, and felt there were quite a few new pieces of understanding in there for me :)

No licence required - and it is written in language I was able to understand. (I did not know what mTOR stood for - but does it matter?)

mTOR is relevant because it inhibits autophagy and it can be overproduced in a diet too high in protein.
