Numb, tingling bottom

Does anyone who suffers with lower back period pain also get a numb, tingling sensation in the same area or just below? If so, do you know what's causing this? I can also feel the area throbbing sometimes.

Thanks ladies. x

This sounds like nerve pain to me, my Mum gets it too. Maybe the swelling from the endo is pressing on a nerve hun x

Hi Amb43,

I'm still waiting to find out if I have endo but I've had this for the past 2 weeks, it was leading up to/during that TOTM so I don't know if that had any impact because I've had lower back pain for about a year now with other symptoms etc, but never the numb/tingling in the bum. Weirdly it was only 1 side though, right side - all of my lower back and spreading up inline with my bra line, but only right bum cheek, right front leg with any numbness and tingling or pain.

Hi, had my 1st Lap on Wednesday, know nothing other than I have Endo on both ovaries and nothing to cause my back pain.

You have quite a lot of areas of tingling, mine is just one patch, small area lower back right bum cheek that happens a lot or not at all. Since posting this question I have read that it is possible to get Endo on the sciatic nerve. Not saying this is what you/we have, but interesting reading.

Waiting 5 weeks now for more info from Consultant, but still painful lower back :(

Hope you are doing ok today. Have you hear from Physio? xx
