I came across this forum just last week and now I have so many questions! Its seems not much is off the table so a really embarrassing question I've tried to ask my gp with not much help is....
Does anyone get random shooting stabbing hot poker pains around perineum that shoot straight up internally. I can be sat on the setee or stood washing pots or what ever and I get these pains that dont last long but can really stop you in your tracks!
This is not a pain that you take pain relief for as they are over as soon as they came but because its not something the gp can identify or manage with pills, I think she was a bit lost...

Yes I get this, usually just before my period starts and sometimes throughout! I think this is quite common with endometriosis but not sure if it's indicative of anything else that's unrelated to endo...
Yes I do too! Even though I’ve had surgery and they found no endo in my bowels I always thought it was endo related. No idea why I get it. Sometimes I’ll be walking and it happens and I just have to hold in a little scream and then it passes. Wish I knew why!
I get this too, happens most often at ovulation around 2 weeks before my period. I find if I’m bloated it’s worse. I told a gynaecologist once and she looked at me like I was mad, said she’d never heard of that and had no idea what it could be. She didn’t seem particularly bothered about it either! I got the feeling she thought I was being a hypochondriac! It’s so painful though, and super embarrassing when you’re in public or at work!
I hate that "look" I've had it quite a lot with other issues I've got. I get offered time off work or antidepressants all the time.....tbh I havnt been back to the doctors for my other conditions because of it. But now all this gynecological stuff has reared its head, I've had to make a return to the GP and I asked to see someone else which was the best decision I've ever made.
