So tired

I since coming off zoladex I have been getting more and more tired and it don't help the my pain nurse has pit me on amatripline tabs which make me drowsy of a night.. Dose anyone know of any ways to give myself a pick me up that would give a boost?

That's not good! Although at the minute I'm on Zoladex

and have problems sleeping at night!

Maybe make yourself a smoothie with fruit natural yoghurt

and fruit juice, makes me feel a bit better.

Hi, I have been off prostap for 6 weeks now, I am exhausted beyond belief. My go mentioned that it's normal and the endo is probadly coming back.. this does figure because my pain is returning. I hope you feel better soon xx

Hi Ladies

Have you tried Berocca Boost? It's only vitamins and minerals and it does help me especially when my tiredness is at it's worst. At the moment a lot of the supermarkets are doing 3 for 2 on them and as there about £5 a tube it is worth looking out for the deals.

I am also on amitriptyline tablets which do make me feel sleepy in the evenings. I take them about two hours before bed so the effect doesnt stay with me for too long the next morning.

I was also recommened an iron-based tonic from Holland & Barrett (other good health foodshops are available!). I think it was called floradex and you just have 2-3 spoonfuls a day. It may not be the nicest taste but it does perk up low energy reserves and make you feel up to facing the world again.

Thank you all so much for the help. Had the worst day so far yesterday after coming off zoladex. Have been in pain a lot of a night the past few days and I know it's only going to get worst.
