hi ive had my first injection last month and im on day 8 of bleeding only usually bleed for 4 days due to have my second shot on thursday is this normal to bleed more or are they risk of bleeding constantlty consultant put me on this before i have my surgery

Hi Sully1, I was put on dec following my first lap. It caused me a lot of spotting but settled down after about a month. There's a list of side effects on the NHS website to check out. Good luck with your op x

thank you its a night mare as i told my gp and consultant when they have tried other think in the past ie contrecepion injection and norethistone to stop my periods it dose the oppostie with me for some reason so was getting worried im just spotting today
