Hi, I have suspected bowel endometriosis and the symptoms are very similar to endometriosis of the womb (which I had diagnosed this Spring). Does anybody else have this condition?

i have is Pouch of Douglas which the endo on the front of the bowel and back of the womb... that what it called for me when they diagnose me... and it ok but without medication like mini pill or depo injection helps you to relieve it but for me it minor as when having period and it can be painful as bowel movement and it is not nice as i end up having diarrhoea... but not sure what your condition minor to severe?? hope you are not so painful with this...

Hi, I had a full hysterectomy 6 months ago as I had endo and endo of the womb. I was o.k. until a few weeks ago and now I'm in as much pain as I was before I had the hysterectomy: cramps, bloating, swelling, painful BM (and afterwards too) but no diarrhea, lower back pain, fatigue, pelvis pain, leg pain and bladder issues. I'm not on HRT as it cause migraines for me. Pain is becoming almost unbearable. I have problems walking because of the pain. I'm allergic to Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Codeine and Tramadol so can really only take Paracetamol - not much relief there.

Hi,

I've got this condition. I had a laparoscopy 18months ago which helped but symptoms have just returned over the last 3 months so I'm not sitting here writing this to you whilst glued to a hot water bottle (which I find helps!). Given your allergies I'm not sure what other drugs to suggest - but heat patches will help with the lower back pain and then I take berocca and floradix to help give me a bit more energy. If it gets really bad I think it's a case of having a laparoscopy but with a bowel surgeon to get rid of the endo in your bowel area. At my worst I used to be curled up crying on the floor in pain -so you're not alone : ) I hope you're feeling through the worst of it soon. xx
