hi does anyone have any advice with prolonged bleeding from adenomyosis ! It’s driving me insane

Are you on any hormonal contraceptive? They tried to stop mine with various pills, I’m now on Mercilon which seems to have lightened the bleeding (still bleeding though).

I’m in the mirina coil but I want a hysterectomy even though I’m 31 I have lost 2 babys due to negligence while in labour and they have messed my insides up I also can’t carry a baby full term Any more and I had a pelvic infection and a uterus surgery which triggered adeno and endo

R u bleeding every day? I start my periods and it lasts 3 weeks I get 1 week of peace if that.

My insides are done for thanks to the nhs hospital who decided to kill my children and my mental health is barley surviving either !

I wish there was an answer to this. I am bleeding everyday in some way or another and have no idea on my cycle anymore 😞 I truly don’t know what to do . Had tranexamic acid from the DR; didn’t do anything. Of course I have had hormonal things recommended but with my mental state around this, I don’t want to take anything that could depress me further.

honestly I am fedup and sick to death of it it’s acc messing with me mentally really bad .. MikiLou r u diagnosed with endo or adeno?

I really empathise with you. Mentally it is so hard and I am doing my best to talk to people and try to make them understand how hard it is for me to really plan ahead. It has helped talking. I’m diagnosed with endometriosis and recently adenomyosis but suspect there is more going on. It’s so hard to get to see anyone to discuss it all. I am at a loss at the moment. Came on here to see if it was just me and then saw your post and realised there are other people going through the same.

I had no idea. I just thought it was me. I’m worried as sometimes have bladder/pelvic pain that is so uncomfortable that being near a toilet is all I want to do. I have to take really strong pain killers to even touch it.

You ain the only one I’m exactly the same and I feel glad I’m not the only one either! It’s the adenomyosos that’s causing all these symptoms and the prolonged bleeding

I’m really bad today myself I’m drained so and I jus ate and my bloating is making me look 9 months pregnant

Bless you… I have had tears and tried calling the doctor AGAIN … all he has told me is to have more iron and he will prescribe tablets to try and stop bleeding (what I’ve had before!) … I just have to wait x Wish I could give you hugs x

How long have u been bleeding now ? R you ok any contraception like mirina ?

I am and I’m due on in a few days the bloody ordeal will start and it lasts 21 days and I have 9 days of peace.. honestly I wish u can hug u back I jus want someone to understand my pain …. I can’t go on like this anymore I’m in so mch pain and my bowels are playing up since yesterday aswell….

pretty much bleeding non-stop with very minimal break … just spotting some times but it never goes away 🙁 Not on anything at the minute as waiting for a follow up at the hospital to discuss MRI.
