I'm so sorry you're having such a tough time and I completely understand - I had to leave my job last year as I was too ill, and I knew I wasn't well enough to get another one and not lose it. I ended up starting my own business which is going okay, but it's still tough.

One thing I would say is that your stamina will probably improve a bit in time - I find my pain and fatigue are always much worse when I start doing something new, but if I keep going I find it does get a bit easier. I just hope this awful pain stops soon for you and that you can enjoy your new job.

Take care

Hello Sully1

So sorry to hear of your troubles. I can empathise totally as I have a 35 hour a week job and I have to manage my pain whilst at work. Luckily my hours are flexible within a broad time span and my boss is lovely.

Have you tried using a TENS unit for pain? Lloyds Pharmacy sell these for about £20-30. I think you can buy these online.

Also magnetic therapy (Magnassage is very good...even vets use these to manage pain in animals!) can be of help too. I use both to great success along with taking Krill Oil and Magnesium. You may wish to discuss this type of pain management with your gynae or GP as long term use of painkillers is far from ideal. I have the menstrual/endo cramps on my lungs as well as pelvic area as the endo I have lives in my lungs.

I am planning to buy a new TENS unit with Ultrasound as this is really effective for long term management of pain. It is not cheap thought at £200. I shall let you know how I get along with it!

Wishing you some much needed relief and peace!
