Scan shows solid elements under ovarian cyst? Should I be worried?

Hi diagnosed with stage 4 endo when chocolate cyst ruptured at xmas. since then have had DC to clean me out and that camera thingy and a biopsy done. anyone got any idea why i am getting sharp pain in my left groin... so bad I nearly fall over, leg gives way..last ultrasound scan shows cyst gas grown back and there is a "solid element" underneath it.... No one seems to want to explain to me what that means. Any ideas?

Sorry to hear you've been having such a rough time. What is the proposed course of action? My personal experience of ovarian cysts is that they don't know fully what it is until it's been biopsied and looked at under the micrpscope. If you've asked what it means, what was the reply? They may not be able to give a specific answer until all investigations are done but they should at least be able to give you an idea of what it means from their experience or what the possibilities may be.

my consultant isnt mentioning it at all... I picked that info up when she copied me into a letter she sent to my gp explaining what they found during scan. she wants me to go back in 6 weeks for results and to decide the way forward........feel very much like I have developed power of invisibility, just an nhs number to be passed from dept to dept... thank you for thinking of me.
