is anyone suffering with constant leg pain? My legs are constantly throbbing , achy and it’s really starting to affect me daily on top of my endo symptoms. Was wondering do I go to the dr but what will be done? I’m currently waiting to see a specialist but that could be a while. Even my pain meds dyhyrdrocodine isn’t helping
leg pain : is anyone suffering with... - Endometriosis UK
leg pain

Hi.Yep. Leg pain was actually my first symptom. It's due to endo in the area of the ovary. There is a nerve going to the leg that passes over there and gets irritated during endo flares. For me it gets worse during periods and ovulation but on the left side the weird sensibily (uncomfortable feeling only when small pressure applied, inability to sit for long periods) is chronic.
What helps me is mobility and relaxation exercises because they release the muscles around the nerves and reduce the pressure. So yoga poses like cat cow, thoracic rotations, cobra etc really help on bad days. Also walks with deep breaths.
Sorry it's not much.
I know that there is surgeon that does a technique called "nerve sparing". That's when endo goes on the nerves. But he is in Italy...not sure who does something like that in the uk but you can try to have a look.
Good luck!
Yes! I am literally suffering with this today down my left thigh which is the side I have a big endometrioma. I just put it down to sciatica which this now explains the pain.
I have leg pain every day that goes down to my knees. More in my thighs. Feels like I’ve run a marathon! I just try having hot baths and showers, try to mobilise more and where I feel it’s needed I use my TENs machine to reduce the cramps and nerve pain
