Leg pain...related??

I've just started to suffer with leg pain feels as if I've strained a muscle but I haven't. Bf is a chiropractor and said it could be to do with the nerves in my bk. anyone had this?

Hi Jess, I had ankle pain for a long time before I was diagnosed. Kept thinking that I had strained my ankle. The pain disappeared after the op so it could well be linked.

I have leg pain most days - like I've over exercised. Today i have pain in both my thighs x was diagnosed after surgery November last year.

Hi, I have suffered with leg paid down my right leg. It starts about two weeks into my cycle in my groin and the pain goes right through to my right buttock and down the right side of my leg with pain in thigh but also pain in calf and it made me feel so tired and unwell. I had a lap about 18 months ago because I was convinced I had endo but it came back clear and I was a bit disappointed because I still didn't have an answer to this. I have also suffered PMDD for years resulting in low mood, crushing fatigue aching from head to foot and migraine. I am nearly 48 and have now been put on 6 month course of prostrap for PMDD but after reading this post about your leg pain and what Lindle has said about endo being missed sometimes when a lap is done, it does make me wonder...

Thanks for replying. They checked my pouch as there was free fluid now the free fluid has gone. I have my lap next week and my gyno has reassured me that he will look at everything to try sort things out. I'm not having the coil put on as I've heard mixed things about it. Rather nervous about the lap as I'm worried they'll find nothing and I'll be back to the start trying to work out what's causing the problem or they'll find more than expected. Do you get put under for the lap? My gyno said he may keep me in over night. I'm a single parent so I'm concerned on recovery. I'm a worrier which isn't good! Jess x

Hiya Jess. I've had the same. feels like I have growing pains in my leg, it's incredibly painful. Get a hot water bottle some tablets and ask a partner or someone to just rub your legs for a while and it should ease off. Hope this helps!

I get a tight ache at the top of my right leg, seems to be in line with the pain i get in my abdomen. it does feel like a pulled muscle. I am being treated for endo but haven't had the op to get a proper diagnosis yet.

Hi I'm totally new to this forum .I suffer from the same pain on the same leg. I had a diagnostic lap done 3weeks ago to remove a 5cm cyst on my right over. Went to day surgery thinking well at least it's not all in my head (suffered from heavy menstral periods clots dragging pain down my legs until my monthly curse finally taking me to my bed for couple of days). Before went for lap went through usual hospital checks to make sure you are who they think you are , only to find out I was getting two ovaries removed. So I pulled myself together and reminded myself it can only get better. Went for surgery woke up to find that my consultant couldn't remove anything. I have been diagnosed with stage 4 endo with my bowel and uterus completely fused together. I have been fitted withe the mire a coil (which apparently supports your womb ,this coil has eosterogen free hormones inpregnated in it. I also have had one decopeptyl injection which has to be given every 4weeks. My consultant told me he is treating me on my symptoms at present but to prepare my self for surgery e.g. Lose weight. I have since took my monthly cycle and have bled for 10 days and to my horror have also passed blood from my rectum. Went to GP who prescribed suppositories , apparently if you have endo you can also bleed from the back. I wish I could just op for hysterectomy just want an end to it all. Sorry I've totally ranted on but that's what happens when someone has same pain describe in the same was as my pain but was told it can't be the endo 100% it is!! . Please post back and have a moan back x

Thanks for replying! Must be awful for you. The first day I'm on my period im unable to get up and dressed. Feels as if someone is stabbing me. I am lucky my gyno has been amazing and all appointments have been made quick and he will see me when ever I phone. I am through a private hospital but via the nhs so they've hurried it up a lot more than the local nhs hospital. My lap isn't till late Friday so it's going to be a long day of waiting. Just hoping they find something. As its a diagnostic as well as sorting as much as he can. Fingers crossed it's a gd outcome. If there is such a thing xx

Hi I am going for a lap soon I have previously had open surgery due to severity of endo they discovered when they were trying to remove ovary and left tube due to suspected ovarian cancer because of size of cyst and my ca125 was 405! They couldn't risk doing a biopsy so went in removed left. They tgen discovered I have stg4 endo and my pouch of Douglas is affected. I am at a bscge centre with an accredited consultant. They gave done an MRI and found I mass on my bowel but since feb a cyst on my remaining ovary gas grown he had recommended drainage so I can try ivf and then later address bowel mass with a multi disciplinary team. I'm now a little worried as I had a CT last yr when they suspected the big C but why wasn't bowel mass seen then? The oncologist surgeon who did surgery last time did acknowledge that my bowel was stuck to other organs but I don't have any concerns with bowel movement. Is this something I should worry about? I'm fearful I might end up with a bag!! I have read your articles on your page very I retesting! I have severe leg pains now but I had no symptoms of endo prior to finding cyst last yr as we were trying to conceive and were referred to fertility. What would your advice be drain and try ivf or sort bowel?
