Help with getting surgery

Hello I have recently been referred to gynaecology and after explaining all the pain I have been dealing with, the doctor does believe it could be endometriosis, I currently have the Coil and have tried many different types of combined pills over the years but it they have never worked and I still bleed very heavily , the doctor has suggested I now get my coil taken out and a new one fitted and see how it works then have a review again in 6 months and if there is no change then they will consider surgery but this is looking at June time, I don’t really want to get a new coil fitted and start the pill again as I don’t want to go through this all again to carry on with the pain still. Has anyone ever dealt with anything like this before and can offer some advice? And does anyone have any advice about how I can speak to my consultant about this?

many thanks x
