Can’t walk without pain

Hey!

Does anyone else have pain when they walk? Even just a 5 minute walk has me in so much pain. I’m already using a walking stick but sometimes it’s both my hips/legs that hurt so honestly I don’t feel fully supported using the walking stick.

I seem fine at home because I sit down often. But as soon as I leave my house I’m in pain.

What the hell should I do next?

help x

I do, I can also pass out when walking due to severity of pain I don't use an aid as iv got anxiety now going out. When I do go out I make sure I take pain killers before x

Hi!I am trying to understand the context. Can you tell me/us about your endometriosis diagnosis/surgery? Do you have pain in your legs only when walking or also sitting? 🤔

hey! I was diagnosed with endo last year. I had lap to diagnose they found multiple small fibroids and adhesions. I have the hormone iud to try to alleviate my symptoms.

When I sit the pain is much less and more subtle. But as soon as I walk for more than a minute I get pain in my hips. When I place my left foot down my left hip hurts (right foot/right hip) and I get a lot of shooting pains down into my knees and muscle ache.

I’ve had pre-syncope nearly every day this week and bloody exhausted from nothing 😢😢

Mmh. I can't talk from experience because my pain is only on the tight. Even though sometimes when I was in a particularly strong flare up I also had pain in my knee. Silly question: ever tried pelvic floor therapy? The fact that gets worse when standing makes me think that your adesions pull down some nerves and cause the pain. So strengthen the pelvic floor could help keep the organs more in place. But I'm a sport scientists so I only make suggestions based on anatomy. I'm no neurologist.

Second silly question: no improvement with the iud? Is the pain constant or fluctuates with the hormones?

Well I have been told my pelvic floor is too tight so I’m doing pelvic relaxation exercises but I’ve just moved counties and now I’m waiting for physio in my new area.

IUD did help for a long time but pain got a lot worse about 3 months after the lap

Oh well. Interesting. I'm very sorry that the treatment doesn't help. Cannot suggest much more than looking for an endo expert in your area and explain the problem 😕

Hiya I have suffered with hip pain and struggled getting in and out my car, walking and lifting my leg up to take a step up on to pavement and getting out of bed ect. Results on a mri showed the endo had gone in to the muscle of my pelvic and told this was the cause. Although I'm not suggesting this is the cause for you it was for me. I has a hysterectomy in March and thankfully I don't have this pain anymore. Wish you all the best in finding a solution to your pain 🙏🏽

Also just to add, pain was mainly in my left hip but also felt it in right hip and legs because of using my right side more to compensate for the left if that makes sense 😊
