Urgent please help:(

Dear all,

I'm new to the group, and while this might seem like a strange question, any thoughts would be appreciated. I'm currently in Germany, but I started experiencing symptoms five years ago while in Australia. The first obvious symptom was bleeding when I went to the toilet. Then, I began feeling a lump on my right lower abdomen area. It feels like it's coming up, I can feel it, and then it goes away, like it's a balloon that gets bigger and then goes down. I went to a doctor, and they said it could be my right ovary. However, at this point, I had period pains really bad, and my periods only lasted 1-2 days max. They wanted to do pelvic scanning, but they couldn't because I have vaginismus. Time went on, and I came to Germany three weeks ago, then I started getting a really bad stabbing pain, like cramps, in the same area. I vomited and also had to go to the toilet at least seven times. Then it kinda went away, but it kept coming back, and finally, I had to go to the ER. They did ultrasound multiple times. They said there is lots of fluid, and they can't see my right ovary. However, my iron was really low too. The gynecologist said she can't see any cysts and she thinks this has something to do with my intestines and the colon. I'm so lost now. They want to do a colonoscopy next week, and they think it'll tell them more. But I know that this pain is something to do with my periods. I get bad pains after I have sex. So I'm so lost. Anyone had similar experiences?

Gosh so sorry you're going through this. Sounds like it could be endometriosis? Maybe your right overy is attached to something and that's why they can't see it? Deffo push for more diagnostic testing with your doctor. Maybe ask for a laparoscopy.

Hi, I am also in Germany. The best thing to go to ER that is in any University Clinic - they are the best and have good resources and equipment.

Should the CT scan or MRI be done instead?? If they can not see the ovary how do they know there is no cyst? You need to solve this with different level of specialists.

Folks you can’t recommend specific treatment centres or medics here. If you wish too go via the DM system

You poor dear :( I'm so sorry!

I agree with the others, MRI / CT would be a good course of next steps if ultrasound isn't good enough. See what the colonoscopy says but a laparoscopy should tell you if it's endo as well x
