I had a lap last month and the consultant mentioned commencing a hormone treatment to manage the endometriosis. I was a bit out of it from the anaesthetic, so can’t recall the name!!
She had advised it’s only available through secondary care, not GP. I believe it can now be used a contraceptive too but was initially licensed for endometriosis. Just wondered if anyone recognised the description and knew the name! I have a follow up appointment next month so I can discuss then, but wanted to do a bit of research! Thanks!

The only thing I can think of Zoladex, it’s an injection, there is another brand, same thing. It’s a hormonal treatment that is licensed for Endo for six months. I’m not aware of it being a contraceptive though. It sends you into menopause.
