Just need to vent away …

I’ve just enjoyed a few blissful low pain days last week, it was amazing to feel almost normal for a while. However I’ve since started bleeding heavily and cramping, this isn’t my normal Endo pelvic pain, I think it might be the Adenomyosis. I’m on Decapeptyl (have been for almost 3 years now) and that always used to keep a lid on the bleeding but doesn’t seem to work as well now. Back to hot water bottle, rest and pain relief, time to ride out yet another storm with these awful diseases 💛 xx

Vent away, completely understand. The disease is so frustrating and that medical professionals don’t know enough makes it worse for us.

Maybe it’s time to get checked out if things aren’t working anymore. How long since you’ve seen someone?

I’ve got an appointment with specialist early July thank goodness so not long now. These injections are a lot to put your body though and that’s fine if the work but recently they haven’t so defo wanna ask about that. How have you been? Xx

That’s not too far off, 🤞 they can help, will you go for surgery if they suggest it?

I’m pretty much the same, getting annoyed with it 😂🤦‍♀️. It’s frustrating not doing much when I’d normally be so active.

I know how u feel im on zoledex injections and i had my 1st normal ish week last week, very low or next to no pain, mood was up.Since the weekend i got stressed and upset and flare ups and headaches all back.

Its the long wait till surgery that fustrates me, im waiting for a full pelvic hysterectomy as mine is so severe endo/ado/fibroid and endemetriomas x2.

I spend alot of time crying and emotions are mixed up.

Last week i felt a sense or normal 1st time this year and this week feel back low

I’ve had endo all my life and I’m now 53. I’m still absolutely gobsmacked at how I feel when the pain goes away for a while and I wake up normally. I feel so flipping “light”, free and almost euphoric for a few days with energy, happiness and optimism, like a totally different person. If only this feeling would last. Have you tried a TENS machine, there’s one called Livia that worked well for me, takes some getting used to but might provide a little relief.
