Bilateral salpingo oophorecromy

Hi all,I wonder has anyone experienced similar to me, I had the above July last year. Since then I have been on Livial for about 3 months and then in January put on Evorel Conti 50mg patches, to relieve insomnia and concentration mainly. But my Endo pain has been creeping back since I have been on it. I have also bled for a total of 5 weeks on and off in the last 8 weeks. Whilst a private GP told me A bleed was normal in the first 6 months of use, I am worried the pain and bleeding may mean something else is going on.

I have been referred back to Gynea, appointment is for October though 🙈🙄

Thanks in advance.

I understood it that oestrogen makes the endo active? And I'rry ve been told that hrt contains mainly oestrogen so I thought it made it work again and that's why you can't or shouldn't have hrt after hysterectomy. Sorry if I'm wrong with this but that's my understanding. I've researched and read everything I can on the subject.

Thanks for replying. Thats always been my understanding too. It's so frustrating that the professionals aren't as informed as we become because we read around the subject so much. I think my age influences the decision alot. (39yo)

I've been told that you have to have combined hrt with endometriosis because the unchallenged oestrogen will reactivate the growths.

I'm currently trialling natural menopause relief with help from health coach at Dr.
