hello, I went to see my gynaecologist yesterday who suggested having Lupron/zolodex injection once every 3 months to help with the pain until I have my laparoscopy . He said it puts your ovary’s to sleep but then once you stop the injections they go back to normal which worried me what it would do to my ovary’s and he said it causes temporary menopause and I’m only 23
Im just wondering if anyone else has had it? If so what symptoms did you get and did it help with the pain?

Hi there,I had stage 4 endo and had zoladex injections every month before a full hysterectomy. They were really good for me, there are so many negative reviews it was terrifying but honestly it was so lovely to have no pain or periods!
I had very mild hot flushes to start and a bit of aching joints but by number 3 I felt great and was definitely worth it for me. Everything does restart again, some people really quick, some people don't get a period for a couple months after they stop but for a few months respite it was worth it for me.
The only difference was I had the monthly jab, no idea if any difference in symptoms etc. Good luck!
I did take lupron 3.75 once, it did ease out the pain by 75% for me. Totally worth it, but yes, the aching joints etc makes u nervous about what else could go wrong sometimes, but they're really tolerable as compared to the endo pain. However, I'd strongly recommend the monthly jab and not the quarterly one if u can request for that!
There was really no big side effect as such, I speak for myself only.
