Do other people experience vaginal bleeding with a bowel movement post lap??

Hi, I am 6 weeks post lap surgery. I was bleeding for about 2 weeks post surgery then it sort of reduced to spotting. My first period since op lasted 12 days and since then I've been experiencing some vaginal discharge (almost flesh like and its not smelly) and bleeding especially when having a bowel movement. Wondering if this is normal? Have other people experienced something similar?

I have vaginal bleeding when I have a bowel movement, for me I think it’s down to pushing as I have difficulty with having an actual bowel movement. I’m not sure if it’s normal, told my gynaecologist and she didn’t seem concerned 😦

I had this before my hysterectomy. Told my endo consultant and she wasn't concerned but didn't seem to think it was common either so got no answer to what it could be in the end.

Thank you for your reply, I did mention to the gynaecologist but they didn't seem concerned and gave no actual reasoning/ answer 🙄 but atleast I'm not worrying about it x

I was quite disappointed to have no explanation for it but I guess endo does strange things to our bodies. I was glad to have my hysterectomy and not have to deal with that anymore. I've had enough of the bleeding and it's such a welcomed break.
