No fluid is good, if there was free fluid it might have meant you were bleeding from somewhere.
Did any Endo show? Endo on ultrasound can be seen but takes a more specialised reader to see it. If none showed it doesn’t mean it’s not there. I had none show, or on MRI.
Fluid refers to peritoneal fluid not blood. The peritoneum is the thin membrane that lines the abdominal cavity and wraps round the organs. It secretes fluid which keeps everything lubricated and sliding freely. The pouch of Douglas is the lowest part of the cavity and any excess fluid collects there. A small amount is normal but if there is an excess it can suggest inflammation. It is actually quite normal for those with endo to have a bit more that usual but no fluid is normal too.
