Hi allI was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2020 (never told stage or anything like that) and scans I've had show probable adenomyosis as well.
After my laparoscopy my pains came back fairly quickly and have escalated. About a year ago i started getting pain in the glutes and all down my leg (more on the right side) and hip pain. Sometimes my hip is so tender I can't even graze my hip bone or touch it even with a fingertip.
Recently I seem to have developed thus burning sensation across my lower abdomen accompanied by stabbing pains and extreme leg pain. Does anyone else experience this as well? I am currently on the waiting list for surgery again and went to A&E Tuesday but as soon as they knew it wasn't appendicitis or kidney stone they just sent me on my way with some painkillers. Anyone have any advice on how to help with this or even to just let me know they experience the same
Thank you 😌

Sorry, it all sounds awful but not something I have experienced personally, I get stabbing pains and leg pain but not a burning sensation. Sounds terrible about the hip pain too, I'm not sure why that would be happening. It's sad that at A&E they just dismissed it because they don't see it as life threatening. After my lap I felt unwell for a long time and I wouldn't say my periods got better, I'm not sure if it makes it worse actually going in and unsettling everything. I have asked to see the gyno again as something is not right.
Do you know when you are likely to go for the surgery again?
Maybe you could try alternate therapies like acupuncture. Acupuncture is very good and some do specialise in women's health so it's worth an ask. Naproxen is good for pain relief but it's very strong and you have to be careful as you might not be able to take it with other medications.
