Hi all, I have Endometriosis and Adenomyosis. In the last month or so I’ve notice every time I work out I bleed. It’s like a spotting bleed. I do cramp a little too. I just want to know if others experience this ?
thanks in advance.

Sadly yea I had that issue last week. I had a rather active day and then lost a massive clot that felt like I was giving birth and so much blood at the same time I went through my pad and underwear however now I’ve really slowed and almost stopped bleeding I’m able to exercise more freely without bleeding. It maybe that you’re at a point in your cycle where you’re more prone to breaththrough bleeding. Maybe speak to your doctor about it? x
Yes, I experienced this, but symptoms have improved since going back onto the pill.
Before I had a Mirena, I used to have unexpected bleeding in the brief few days when I wasn't actually having a period. The Mirena has thankfully stopped my periods, but I do still get a bit of spotting now and then. If you're worried, it's worth mentioning to your consultant or GP, but in my experience it's sadly part and parcel of endo and adeno.
I'm sorry I can't help with advice but I'm exactly the same. The first time it happened I was 13 running round the sports track on a Wednesday night. The blood and pain were horrendous.
My periods had always been fine till then.
Then during covid lockdown, I had been doing a round of sit ups, turned over to follow through on burpees and again I had seering pain and began bleeding profusely.
Then after my triathlon last year, I was fine until day three and wham I was bleeding and in so much pain I phoned the hospital and I was asked to get myself there ASAP. The Gp and sexual therapist there said they think that last one was a cyst on my Overy bursting and the blood and fluid coming rushing out causing cervix pain 😢.
I have never had proper answers and I'm so sorry I can't really help. I know now that the ovaries produced watery bloody cysts normally about 3 weeks out of 4 and they cause pain as the abdomen is sensitive, but I find it hard to believe that much blood can get out a fallopian tube designed for a miniscule egg.
