Not too much info, don’t worry. I bled a little on and off. They do say you can bleed after, I think I was told around 7-10 days.If you are concerned you can ring the ward, GP or 111 to check. There could be other factors and they may want to rule out things like infection.

Is it just bleeding or do you have other symptoms?

Thank you Moon_maiden for your reply. Oh that’s reassuring to know. My stomach is still quite swollen and keep getting quite intense cramps (don’t have periods anymore due to having coil fitted) I also don’t have much of an appetite

Just be careful and not take chances. Your body will be adjusting to the coil as well, could be why you are getting cramps. I never had the coil so not sure on this. Did you have lack of apettite before op or just since?

How are the war wounds looking? 🙂

I’ve had the coil approx 6 months but I wondering if they could of disturbed it slightly during the op which is why I’m getting cramps! Lack of appetite has come on since the op think its because my stomach is bloated😫 they aren’t looking too bad still quite raised. Thank you☺️

Hi, I had mine a week ago on Wednesday and was bleeding pretty heavily until yesterday. Still have a bit of light blood but I’ve had the same experience as you so hoping it’s normal! 😂 hope your recovery is going well x

Hey! I had a laparoscopy on the 19th and i was on and off bleeding for two weeks so it’s definitely normal! They don’t really advise you beforehand so i can understand why you might have felt concerned by it, but don’t worry - 100% normal! it takes a while for your body to go back to normal and internal healing takes a lot longer! hope you recover soon and experience less pain! drink loads of peppermint tea for the bloating, was a life saver for me!

Hey gbbbb! Thank you for replying and glad to hear its normal! No they don’t tell you much, think I was told follow up in 4 months and you are free to go haha. Thank you again and think I might go invest in some peppermint tea ☺️

Yes, I bled afterwards. I had a whole period like a few days after my surgery. I was very puffy and swollen down there too! You are ok!! If it lasts more than a week then talk to your doctor or talk to your doctor if you feel uncomfortable in any way 🤗

It's OK. My doctor said you might have spotting up to 14 days after lap. 😉
