I was told to start this but within 3 days I was bleeding non stop out 3 weeks. It triggered off the worse pain in my bowel to the point I could not sit properly without placing a hot water bottle under went back to my gp and she told me to stop it and go back to the original pill microgynon.

Sorry to hear this. I've been on it a week and is working better than injection. I had a lap 15 months ago and unfortunately have been bleeding in some form since then. The coil wouldn't stay in, implant was horrendous, injection just made me bleed... so I'm hoping this may work for me.

Oh gosh I'm sorry your going through this after lap. I was diagnosed within 3 days of getting severe pelvis pain in Aug 2018 waited 11 months to get surgery, lap Aug 2019 and since been endo free. I am currently just taking the Noriday pill every day no break. It has improved my period by having no pain.

I have also cut down on eating cheese and mayo. This has helped so much with endo pain and also I couldnt afford to go in gluten free diet that was too expensive.

Really wish you the best in recovery and hopefully this pill helps you. x

Thank you. Hopefully this will work 🤞. I went lactose free which helps with the pain and my skin. Hope you stay well.

I was using desogestrol, which I think is the same thing, from Dec to a week ago. Didn’t really do much apart from balance emotions a bit better and I think it may have improved kidney levels, could be coincidental

Yes, it takes a while for your body to get used to it at first mine has random bleeds but after three months I have no period at all. I’ve been on it on & off for years unaware that it was masking the fact I had endometriosis. Now I’m back on it, it’s a massive relief. I’ve not had any Endo pain at all.

I had good a response to and major pain reduction with NuvaRing. Tried several mini pills, the copper coil, and the hormonal coil Mirena with no success... long stories.

I too reduced dairy and replaced with hormone free, organic dairy. Reduced meat, carb and alcohol consumption, eat at least one green veg everyday, drinks loads more water, sleep as much as possible and do yoga at home 3-4 times a week.

Self care and stress reduction are more essential than the hormone therapy for me.

I’ve been on cerazette for almost a year now. It definitely helped with all my symptoms as it stopped my period entirely.

I had a lap to remove an endometrioma cyst last month and have stopped taking it since, due my first period soon and feeling the effects immediately of not taking the pill (but we are trying to get pregnant soon so I’m going to suck it up as long as I can).

Hope that helps! X

Yes thank you. I'm not in pain since my lap its the constant bleeding that is causing issues. Hopefully the pill will work.

Good luck with getting pregnant.

Desogestral (I think the same as cerazette) was the only thing that worked for me - it stopped my periods so I think that's why. I couldn't use normal pill because of migraines and implant and coil were no good for me. As soon as I came off pill to try for kids though it was horrendous, so literally just a management strategy and not a treatment.

Everyone is so different though - unfortunately I think it's just trial and error!

Hi. Yes I had a Lap 14/15 months ago. I've tried the coil, implant, injection nothings worked yet. So hopefully this will help. I've had bleeding in some form since my Lap 😭

Ditto with the random bleeding but it's generally not much. Overall it's been really good for me.

Hi, I have been on Cerezette for about 3 years. (At this time symptoms but not diagnosed with Endo) To begin with it wasn’t much help it took a while (6 months maybe) but now only have the odd period maybe twice a year. I do get pains and symptoms here and there (I’ve since been diagnosed with stage 4 ) but it’s working the best for me so far. I have also been through all the different types. My Gynaecologist did also recommend taking 2 of the pills a day if my symptoms didn’t improve. Maybe this is something you can speak to your GP or gynaecologist about? I hope you find something to help you soon. X
