Since endometriosis got worse, I can no longer travel by plane without being terribly sick to the point of not being able to breathe properly for a few weeks (guess, a tiny pneumothorax), pain in the ribs + chest (especially the right one) + all the rest of the usual symptoms of endometriosis (brain fog, fatigue, chronic pain...). Who else has got such issues when travelling by plane (I used to be a frequent flyer)? It takes me at least two months to feel, let's hope a bit better. That sounds like I now have got thoracic endometriosis. It's been nearly a year since they've stopped my periods (but sometimes, I still get my periods, each four months where I need to stop the pill for a week; otherwise, I won't stop bleeding). I can no longer walk more than 15 minutes; my life became so terrible (impacting my studies, work...) that really I lose my motivation to eat food (most of the time I eat the specific diet but I might still get sick) and you can imagine the rest (mood...). Still haven't had surgery (I'm 24 now). I really would appreciate it if you could share your experience (and probably cheer me up) because my life feels like ruined to me and I'm really struggling with the studies and everything. Thank you!!!!💕

Endometriosis and traveling by plane
Hi I am the same, once I passed out in my seat on the plane and the air hostess led me in the walkway at the front of the plane, pain was so bad and I felt so sick. Turned out the air hostess also had endo and had been told to have a baby to cure it 🙄she was very nice to me and I was fast tracked through security in a wheelchair so it had its plus points! I recommend promethazine which can be bought online called avomine, helps with the anxiety as makes u a bit sleepy. It’s not easy living like this but we are warriors so we keep fighting x
Thank you for being the first to reply! I don't have travel sickness, not at all (I usually feel nothing on the day I'm flying, but it's the aftermath the following days and months after flying) . It's the air pressure on my body (endo on my bowels and possibly lungs) + having to carry luggage that will kill me directly the following day (and I'm dead for weeks) and it takes at least two months to get a bit better after traveling by plane (I used to love so much travelling by plane until endo got worse for me).Glad the air hostess knew what to do and was so kind to you!
