Yes, I had this before my 2nd surgery. Unfortunately they had to remove the ovalry and tube on that side. It was a big operation (6 hours +) and recovery took quite a long time. Years on I am still not 100 % recovered and have pain from time to time. The GP thinks it's now due to adhesions.
I did have this, all on my left and yes, the pain was unbearable some days. Defo worse on ovulation and a period. When I went to the toilet it would hurt too.
Try and get a referral if you can do a specialist can properly diagnose you.
Hello, sorry to hear about your pain. Yes, I had this. Initially they thought it was an endometrioma after an ultrasound scan, but turns out it was a regular ovarian cyst which resolved itself! I did have endo elsewhere though which was probably exacerbating the pain. Definitely worth getting a referral xx
