hey! I’ve been taking utrogestan 100mg to try help endo symptoms (endo stage 4 and in diaphragm). But I’m getting a lot of dizziness and palpitations with it. So I’m thinking of asking tot switch to vaginal utrogestan.

Has anyone tried this and got less side effects? And did it help with whole body endo pain?😭😭

Hello, apologies for late reply I've only just joined. I have taken 200mg Utrogestan at bedtime for a couple of years now for endo and it has reduced my pain to almost nothing (I have some endo in my groin/gut etc). I have had no side effects from Utrogestan but then I'm sure my estrogen/progesterone balance is very off so might be why?! I'm even considering upping it to 300mg for a trial as my endo is still progressing. I'm also looking into systemic enzyme therapy as a possibility - if you google it there are a surprising number of articles about it (it originated as a cancer treatment as it 'eats'/dissolves fibrin aka masses or cells which shouldn't be around but the body for whatever reason has not been able to clear itself). Sending hugs

Hello, I came across your post in searching for utrogestan info. Did you up the dose to 300mg? I'm on 200 and thought it was going to stop my period but I've started and in pain. First one after my lap for safe 4 DIE. I think I'll increase the dose to 300 tonight. Did it stop your period? Also interested to hear if you done the enzyme treatment? Thanks 😊

Hi, it’s lovely you messaged. So yes I did go up to 300mg for a short while but it didn’t sit right with my body so went back down to 200mg which thankfully for me keeps pain at a minimum but yes I do still have regular periods (I’m 51 so well into perimenopause hoping once menopause comes it will help further regulate my hormones naturally…).

It’s a lady called Lara Briden whom I follow online who was the first one I read about taking utrogestan for endo. She says doses up to 300mg, I think we are all so different the only thing we can do is try stuff out.

Sorry I know that’s not much help.

I’ve just started systemic enzyme therapy (as in taking high dose enzymes on an empty stomach). No changes yet. I know I need to up my dose more (it of course depends on make but I think I should take say 2 capsules 3 times per day, I take Enzymedica, Digest Gold with ATPro with 1 Nattokinase 4000 Fu be careful though depending on your bleeding/clotting! Many take a small dose of serrapeptase or buy a product with it incorporated it seems these specific fibrinolytic enzymes “activates” the other enzymes).

I read a book by Tom Bohager about enzymes that’s how I cobbled together my protocol. I’ve also heard a product called Zymessence is meant to be good.

I wish I could help more. It all sure is a jigsaw isn’t it. I hope you can find a combo to ease your pain and please anything else just ask I’ll always try my best to answer.

Hugs, Eva 🤗
