Following on from my thread, I just wondered what pain relief you use? Naproxen, paracetamol, Mefenamic acid have done nothing for me. I'm currently on co-codamol 30/500 which is working but is saying my constipation to be worse than it is already. Does anyone use Amitriptyline? Thinking it might help with the nerve pain up and down my legs?
The only real relief I get is from a scorching hot bath and my dreamland heat pad.

hey, I’m currently on regular tramadol, naproxen and paracetamol. I have stopped the codrydamol 30mg/500mg as the constipation was causing so much misery, and aggravating my Endo. I definitely feel better for coming off that. I’m also on the Decapeptyl injections alone with HRT x

Daily Tramadol 50mg, Paracetamol and medical cannabis oil. Plus heat pads!
hey I’m currently taking cocodamol and laxido is my best friend. I have a laxido every day with orange squash and it helps massively xx
I've used Tramadol in the past and unfortunately, it didn't agree with me. The co-codamol is helping, not 100% but taking the edge off. Can I take Naproxen as well. The Naproxen helped with the leg pains.

Hi, I take amitriptyline, naproxen and co codamol, also oramorph when it’s really bad. Agree heat pad is amazing and you will probably need laxatives of some description x
I was wondering about Amitriptyline for my nerve pain in my legs. I take Laxido already x
Might be worth a try, I’ve only recently started getting nerve pain, maybe it would be worse if I wasn’t taking it. Seems to help with migraines for me though x
Have you tried a tens machine? I found this really helped when added to the mix with painkillers. Also Naproxen + Codeine if you’ve not tried them together. Good luck!
I have got a tens machine. It hasn't done anything yet, but will persevere. So I can take Naproxen and Co-codamol together? I ended up in a and e at the weekend, and they gave me Diclofenac. It isn't really helping tbh

my GP prescribed them to take at the same time, though probably worth checking with your Dr that there’s no other factors you’d need to consider. My tens I had to play around a bit with the intensity to get it to help with pain, but understand if doesn’t work for everyone.
