Sudden irregular periods...advice please!

So, I'm 27 and my periods have always been regular, occurring mostly every 25-26 days, occassionally later but never past day 30; however, my last period started after 37 days and I'm worried that this is going to be a regular thing now.

I'm on day 26 today and nothing yet! I'm still getting the usual symptoms (Tiredness, heaviness, sharp sudden stabbing pains etc but no bleeding)

Has anyone else experienced this and have any advice?

I'm not on any contraception/hormone control and like I said, it's just started happening suddenly...is it a sign that the disease is getting worse? My doctors have, as always, been no help at all and have offered no advice.

ask for a referral to gynea, no unnatural bleeds or pains should be ignored. I am currently being treated for post menopausal bleeds and know how harrowing it can be.
