Periods won’t stop , advice please

Hi , I’m hoping people can give me some advice .

I suffer from endo, pcos and adenomyosis .

I had a period that lasted nearly 3 months, very heavy with clots. I went to A&E in the end and was prescribed medication to stop the bleeding . However as soon as the course of meds finish, the bleeding starts again .

I’m on the waiting list to see the bsge clinic & still waiting on a pelvic scan and to have a mirena coil fitted . I’ve had no joy with general gynae , they didn’t do the referral for the scan and the coil and I had to complain to get myself referred .

My question is , has anyone else had this problem and what helped ?

Did having a mirena help with the bleeding?

I’m going on holiday next month and could really do with having a break from the bleeding .

Many thanks

Hey. I had this issue last year. I was on the pill but I had my period everyday for 6 months. The doctors then changed my pill to a different one which worked for me and my period finally stopped.
