Quick question ladies: how long did you wait for your first gynea appointment?

my referral was sent last august and I’m still waiting 6 months on.

mine was 8 months and i was suppose to have had an review in july and they have only just rang me today to book me for that!

maybe give them a ring if you haven’t just to check everything is in hand - i went private in September just for my piece mind in the end

I was referred in October 2021 and still waiting for my first appointment

Referred Nov 2021 and seen October 2022. If you are in the UK there’s an NHS referral waiting time for each hospital that you can view online, although not always correct it gave me something solid to send over to PALS and ask what was going on.

I was seen quicker because I had a raised level in a ca125 blood test, otherwise I was told it could have been 6 to 12 months. ❤️

8 months. I got told I need surgery which there is a 42 month wait for and that's it. No check ups in the meantime so I have requested another scan which I argued for. Its now another 10 month wait for a scan ☹️ Hope you get seen soon
