Degesterol and implant

Hi everyone,

I'm currently undergoing investigations for endometriosis, and have a hysteroscopy booked for March next year. In the meantime, gynecologist has advised GP to put me on x2 degesterol tablets, on top of implant I already have in arm. This is working and has stopped the bleeding and symptoms, which is positive. However, I'm also concerned about the side effects of being on such a high dose of degesterol? What are the long term implications? And also, I'm glad this has stopped the bleeding and pain, but this is simply masking it, will they still investigate what the underlying issue is? Or will I be on these tablets forever?

Any advice or sharing of experience would be greatly appreciated 🙂 x
