I have been to see another consultant for a second opinion and he was amazing! He did not blame my condition on being fat and he actually listened. He actually stated that he is going to speak with the first consultant I saw as he is not happy with her.
So he has booked me for a laparoscopy and MRI scan. I am just so happy someone has listened to me after all these years.
I am having to have so much time off work due to a lot of bowel problems and so much pain. Is anyone in the same position with work?

I am currently trying to get a MRI , my doc stated you have a laproscopy 2 years ago ( july 2020) and my symptoms which have increased alot, that she has no reason to offer me an MRI as none found back then. I am glad to hear your being heard. Why women have to fight so much makes me mad. My gyno doc was not good. I am very certain mine is deep endo too.
I have to take ibroupen and codine to sleep and function at work as my whole stomach is on fire.
I am looking for my second opinion and your story gives a glimmer of hope!
So sorry to hear this, I have been doing research prior to having surgery and it’s been advised the wide excision method of removal is better than ablation.
Find out what method you had as ablation will unfortunately not get all of it.
Again I read this in the Heal Endo book by Katie Edmmonds, it’s been very helpful
So glad you found someone who listens! This is the most important thing.
I have started to have similar problems. I highly recommend a book called Heal Endo because it is so holistic, written buy someone who has had Endometriosis herself. Available on Amazon Uk.
She recognises solutions to this disease are not one size fits all. I am finding much relief with altering diet and taking supplements while I wait for laparoscopy.
Really important to keep inflammation down, I have been taking probiotics, full spectrum turmeric and magnesium.
