Help combined pill for endo

You shouldn't be prescribed the combined pill for endo because it contains oestrogen which makes endo grow. If you have endo you should have a very thorough investigation and possible surgery and possibly the progesterone only pill not the combi. Change your doctor.
I did try the progestrion only pill but i had a migraine with aura with it...i am awaiting a gyne appointment and that gyne said i should try the combined pill now instead.Against better judgement really as i didnt want to start taking the pill again especially at my age.I am 45 this year and also have frequent non cancerous lumps in breast and dense breast tissue. The worse contraception i have tried was the merina coil which i really wouldnt have again..the symptoms were so bad.I was diagnosed with pelvic congestion but doctors dont believe this causes any of my symptoms and decided i have endo instead.
It sounds like you need to get your endo looked into properly. I'd suggest getting a good scan done even before you see a gynae, then you can show them the results. I hope you get somewhere. Combi pill isn't usually recommended at 45 anyway, I had a migraine with aura but just one ever and weirdly i had it just after my vaccination for covid. I think you could have that on a one off basis without it being conncetd to the pill, but do whatever feels safe for you. Good luck I hope you can get some proper help.xxx
My endo specialist said people with Endometriosis shouldn't be prescribed the combined pill. I had been on it since i was 14! Big mistake, if only medical professions knew this all of those years ago. Then again they don't know much these days either 😔 xx
Wow am.quite worried now as my first gyne appointment is next week and this gyncologist I am seeing advised me to start taking it while i was awaiting my appointment.Do not think they are a endo specialist. My current doctrs havent been taking anything i say seriously about other things recently so i hope this appointment wont be the same.
