Prostap and spotting

Hi I have endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids and cysts, I'm currently trying out prostrap injections. Anyway after the first injection I had bleeding for the and a half weeks. Then nothing for twenty weeks, but on Sunday I started spotting, it keeps stopping and starting too. I'm wondering if it's because the fibroids are shrinking. Does anyone else have any experience of this occurring. Many thanks have a lovely day x

Thank you for replying, I spoke to the nurse and she said not to worry it's probably a break through bleed, but if it gets worse to book myself in with the surgery. But to keep a record of things. It's so frustrating isn't it. How are you doing now has it stopped altogether again x

Hi I totally understand how you feel, I'm so very sorry you're in so much pain. I'm a lot calmer since I spoke to the nurse had all sorts of things running around in my head and was dreading her saying ooh we will refer you back to gynecology for lots more painful and stressful poking and prodding about. Hope you get something sorted out soon, sending you a big hug too 🤗❤️

I've the same symptoms and diagnosis as you and have been on monthly prostop injections since June, while i wait for a total hysterectomy and excision. Had a horrendous first period and then nothing, no bleeding, no pain, its been great. However the past two weeks I have been experiencing cramps and pain, currently manageable with paracetamol but definitely worsening, not had any spotting though. It also feels like its tied to my bladder which is not a symptom ive had previously. I'm going to get in touch with the endo nurse at the specialist centre I'm with to talk through options, get advice and chase my surgery date. Hopefully you will get some answers too.

I hope you get some answers soon, the nurse said to keep a record but it's probably a break through bleed. I had terrible stabbing pains on the last day before my injection was due for the last five injections. I had some yesterday but not so bad. I'm so sorry to hear you're suffering, sending you a big hug too ❤️🤗
