Chest Pains Before Period (1-year Post-Op)

Hi,

Has anyone experienced severe chest pains with endometriosis right before a period? I used to experience minor aches the week before but now feels like I’m completely incapacitated. Discussed the symptoms with my surgeon 6 months ago who suggested the possibility of thoracic endometriosis. Have had 3 operations to treat endo over the past 3 years, they’re reluctant to operate on the lung what with recovery being more intense. The only way to diagnose TE is by surgery, and I’m trying to put as much time between each operation as possible!

Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this and if they found a way to cope with the symptoms without going down the surgical route?

I’d be interested to hear any responses too. My symptoms are worse before a period. Could you be suffering from a collapsed lung each month? I feel your pain. For me surgery is a last resort as I had a laparoscopy and thought that was bad enough..!
