Increased heart rate and chest pain with endo?

Hi,

I'm having this more and more often alongside my endo flare ups. Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm not sure what to do or if I should speak to gp. I had an ecg a few months ago and it came back normal.

Hi,

I would go and see your doctor, particularly if you have had covid recently and also have shortness of breath. I had covid at new year and after weeks of chest pain and shortness of breath was finally diagnosed with pulmonary embolism (blood clots in the lungs). Increased heart rate is also a symptom, and it was nothing to do with my endo, which was one of my first questions. Covid is a risk factor for clotting as are hormone medications containing oestrogen, such as the combined pill. They can do a blood test initially (d dimer) to check if your clotting levels are raised, followed by X-ray/scans.

I don’t want to worry you by suggesting this, it could be any number of things causing your symptoms, but I would try to be seen as soon as you can. I was treated for a chest infection initially, and it could have turned out to be something as simple as that but better safe than sorry.

Hi omg I thought I was the only one imaging it ,it's like u can feel your heart in your throat and breathing feels off happens when on periods or ovulation

Have you have your blood checked recently? I had the same, thought it was anxiety and ended up being severe anemia
