Does anyone feel pain in their flank..( side of abdomen just under the rib) if yes, how does the pain feel?
I get pain mid back/stomach on the sides and I can’t see anything online which relates this pain to endo so I don’t know whether to reach out to my GP or if it’s just another joy of endo..

Yes yes yes I do! I get it both sides, quite deep in so definitely not muscular. Around the time of my period it feels like a pulling/cramping pain a bit like menstrual pain. My flanks on both sides are always tender but worse around period/ovulation. When I ovulate particularly when it’s the right side I feel a strong pain in my lower right pelvis but it then radiates up to above my hip and then right into kidney area. From what I have researched it could be endo on a ureter causing hydronephrosis or just inflammation in kidneys. Or it could be endo on kidney or diaphragm making that whole area sore.
Thanks for replying and sharing your experience! I’ve been going crazy overthinking.. cos I’ve never seen flank pain being related to endo.. only mentions kidneys online. So I was getting very worried!
Yes! When I wake in the morning especially if I really need to urinate. It is too high for bladder and on the other side from kidneys. I have no idea why its so achey but it has bothered me for years. Have had an ultrasound for gallbladder, kidneys but nothing found.
Yes! Left hand side, radiating round to mr back, especially at night for me! I’ve had my gallbladder removed previously so if unsure of was due to that or endo but I highly suspect the latter! It can be quite agonising at times
