Hello there hope your all not suffering too badly, whilst sat here this afternoon I suddenly developed a real sharp pain lower down in my pelvic area, the pain keeps radiating to my leg I recently had an ultrasound but due to endo blocking my left ovary they were unable to tell if something else was going on, has anyone else had this? What did you do to try and ease the pain 3 hours later it’s driving me insane.

Hi Joely21
Sorry to hear you're suffering yourself with this horrendous pain! I've experienced this type of pain which radiates down the leg. For me, it has been linked to my ovaries as the pain often begins there and travels to my legs/hips. It's awful, isn't it?
Things I've tried that have helped are using heat (hot water bottle or similar) and putting that on both the pelvis and legs. I have a long water bottle which is perfect for leg pain.
Also, it might seem unbearable but doing some very gentle exercise can help. A very slow and gentle walk or stretching. Have to be really careful as this can trigger things off if you overdo it! Of course, taking painkillers as recommended by your consultant may take the edge off the pain too.
I really hope it eases for you soon! 💛
Take care,
Claudia
Eeekkk familiar pain : I found hot water bottle and Epsom salts footbaths helped when the pain was too grim to handle even sleeping. Long term I found pelvic physio hypopressives after appropriate surgery has sorted it. Surgery alone didn’t do it
