Hi was wondering if anyone has pains going down the left leg. Seems to go all the way down to the feet. Don’t know if it’s endo related but would be good to know if anyone diagnosed with endo had the same problem. X
Pain down left leg: Hi was wondering if... - Endometriosis UK
Pain down left leg
Do you have any other issues like back problems, kidney problems etc
Hi I have this problem however I have lower back problems i go to see my chiropractor for this. I usually tie a tight band/cloth around my leg/thigh and find this helps, however i feel that my route cause is my back. Hope this helps x
Thanks for the reply ladies. No don’t have problems usually with my kidneys or back but I went for my 1st consultation with the nhs gyne and since they done the internal test I have shooting pains down my leg going right down to my toes. I had it slightly before but not this bad.
I get this really bad as well. It started if I was on my feet for too long but now I get it lying in bed.
Does the pain go to the front of the thigh?
I've had this symptom along with everything else and when I first went to the doctors about my endo pain they tried to say it was my sciatica flaring up 😂
I think it's just another symptom but unsure what causes it, I've asked several doctors and they can't really tell me.
I hope you're ok I know how horrible and uncomfortable it can be. At least we know we aren't the only ones!
Xx
It seems to go down the inside of my leg down to my toes. Thank you so much for your reply! It is good to know we aren’t on our own! Especially not knowing anyone else that has it x
I get this down the front of my right thigh!
Hi
I had the same thing the pain would start in my hip and then radiates down my leg. Also would feel numbness and sharp shocks in my buttocks when walking. GP sent me for X-ray and then mri and found no cause. Done some research and found that endo can attach to the sciatic nerve. To rule out that I was put on prosap to see if symptoms stopped, which they did slightly. Finally I paid to see physio and she found that my muscles were so tight from the way I had been holding myself with the endo pain. The exercises she has given me has really helped.
I get this. I have endo on uteral ligament. Im sure its related. Mine runs down front of my thigh and im sure its endo. I do have back problems but that usually runs down my arse cheek and down back of my leg xx
Me too. I get low back pain, right butt cheek, hip, groin, right thigh and down to feet. I was diagnosed with Endo in March and have had 3 surgeries to remove Stage IV, rectovaginal endo, endo on uterosacral ligaments (can cause back and leg pain) and adhesions sticking bowel and ovaries. Am still struggling with pain and surgeon is suspecting Adenomyosis now so it deffo is all linked to gyny issues! Good luck x
Hi maybe it's your sciatic nerve. My mom and I use a tennis ball to sit on it hurts at first but gets that nerve back in place. I didn't have any leg pain with endometriosis just sex and inner female parts areas were painful.
IHi!
I have nerve damage in my leg, buttock, back and groin. It affects my muscles and causes pain which goes down to the feet. It’s rare but it’s currentky being thought to have been caused by endo given how it started and my improvement on Prostap. I have a laparoscopy next month so will know for definite then. I’ve read a lot about it and although it’s rare, endo can cause damage to nerves to the legs and feet. Make sure you report your symptoms. I just lived with it as I was fed up of being fobbed off. X
I get really bad period pain that is in my leg, usually one but sometimes both. It's sometimes that bad I get a limp and it goes down to the underside of my foot too. I had bladder problems with endo and when I utinated at times was like severe period pain which included my legs so I know it's somehow related. Nothing really helps but sometimes hot water bottles on my foot and lower back at the same time relieves it whilst laying down, unfortunately it's not exactly convient but I've had it years and it's never gotten worse so I'm kinda used to it. Hope you get to the bottom of yours.
